The audio resources below are for use with the textbook Modern Ukrainian by Assya Humesky. For more information and for instructions on the use of these audio materials, please visit the Instructions Page. These recordings were made in accordance with the first edition of this textbook. Changes in subsequent editions of the printed textbook are not reflected in the audio materials. Thus, the material in the recordings is sometimes different from what is in the textbook. The links on the pages accessed below open streaming audio files. Unfortunately, this technology usually fails in older versions of the Netscape browser, which will require you to open the mp3 file directly.
These audio materials are digitized versions of audio material sold by the Language Resource Center of the University of Michigan. They object to the free distribution of these files. Thus, the audio files will be available only to students enrolled in Ukrainian courses at the University of Toronto. Students in these courses should contact their instructor to obtain the password.
If you wish to purchase these audio materials, contact the Language Resource Center at email@example.com. Unfortunately, they sell only tapes. They have not produced digital versions of these materials, although they claim that they will be available on CD in the near future.
